In addition to a large contingent from the Rotary Club of Brighton, we sponsored students from Brighton Secondary College to attend the International Women’s Day breakfast at Crown Palladium last Wednesday.

After an early start for many of them, it was a unique opportunity to hear from influential speakers such as Susan Alberti, Sara James and Kitty Chiller deliberate on the changing role of Women and opportunities to be realised.

Although most comments related to the excellent catering, it was encouraging to hear many repeat and discuss some of the messages delivered during breakfast while travelling back to college.
