What a fantastic success was our first event for Women’s International Day breakfast Thursday 8 march 2012!

We had over 720 men and women and supported Violence Free Families www.violencefreefamilies.org.au!!

And yes those hard questions were asked about how and if it possible for men and women to work together. …opening further challenges for next years panel.

And the big question on everyone’s lips "Would it be ever possible for Andrew Demetrio’s position to be taken over by a women". Response "Why Not!"

Violence Free Families is tackling the fastest area of violence in our Community according to Ken Lay Commissioner of Police, and Women In Rotary were thrilled to make such a donation to this Rotary project.

This event would not have been such a success without our special guest panel, who all donated their time, and got out of bed at that wee hour!

Also a special thanks to our major sponsor Clifton Hill/fitzroy Bendigo Bank.

Thanks to Jellyfish marketing, Cristy’s Spit Roast party, Better Living Products, TS14, The Scarf Company, Social Studio, Bunnings Port Melbourne, Carman’s Museli Bars, Ernest Hillier Chocolates, My Chemist, NewsNet, Travel Associates, Concept Amenities, Boo RadleyArk Clothing, COH Hairdressers, Rotary End Polio Now.

Keep the date free Friday 8 March 2013 International Women’s Day Breakfast…..let’s achieve 1,000 men and women!!
