The first time a Women in Science Fellowship Award was presented to Zerina Lormic who has dual qualifications in nursing and basic science to forge a career as a ‘nurse scientist’. The award was supported by the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Baker Foundation. It is three year fellowship valued over $300,000.

This year we had over 100 Year 12 students attending the event and 30 Real Estate Boards scattered around Melbourne.

We thank everyone for their support in assisting us to present such a successful event.

This year because of our National Sponsor we held events in every state around Australia.

All these events were very successful. It was a great opportunity for Rotary to spread the word that it supports women in Rotary and in the workplace.
